Shortening exists to make links shareable - not to insert an ad gauntlet between the tap and the watch. LinkShare keeps the destination clean and the links tiny.
Where short links matter most
- Instagram bios, where character limits are tight.
- Comment threads, where anything longer than two sentences looks like spam.
- WhatsApp status, where a long URL wraps and looks unreliable.
